The Line partnered with New York–based creator and influencer Alyssa Lenore to create a journal that felt personal, intimate, and reflective of the slower moments that often get lost in everyday life. To bring the project to life, Editform was brought on to develop the creative direction and visual language for the shoot.
At the heart of the project was the journal itself — an object designed to encourage reflection, intention, and a more considered approach to everyday living. We wanted the imagery to carry that same feeling. Rather than creating something overly produced, the direction focused on capturing a sense of ease and intimacy, allowing the journal and Alyssa to exist naturally within the frame.
Working closely with Alyssa as both the face of the project and a creative collaborator, we developed a visual story around quiet moments, thoughtful details, and the tactile quality of the journal. The goal was to create imagery that felt elevated while still retaining a sense of authenticity — photographs that could live naturally within The Line’s visual world while reflecting Alyssa’s personal aesthetic and perspective.

The Line had intentionally kept it to herself because she didn’t want the knowledge of a potential editorial feature to create any additional pressure on set. Once the shoot was wrapped, she shared the news with Alyssa and our Creative Director, revealing that the journal and imagery would be featured in Vogue’s Wellness coverage.
The shoot was photographed by Paul Bolasco, whose approach brought a beautiful softness and editorial quality to the images. Together, the creative direction, photography, styling, and setting created a visual narrative that felt understated, warm, and intentional.
There was one detail about the project that we didn’t know until after the shoot.
